To get ourselves ready for T-Day this Thursday, I came up with a smoothie that uses butternut squash, a Thanksgiving staple in many homes.
“Creamy Butternut” Smoothie Recipe
- 2 frozen bananas
- About 1 cup of mashed, chilled butternut squash
- 1-2 teaspoons of flaxseed meal
- 1/4 of an avocado (optional)
- 2/3 cup of milk or almond milk
Blend well, until creamy, and serve.
