When taking measures to prevent the signs of aging, our necks often get overlooked. And has it occurred to you that constantly looking down at our gadgets isn’t doing us any favors? I recently stumbled across a yoga pose specifically for the neck region and the prevention of sagging. What I really love about this pose is that it’s very simple to do, and you can do it pretty much anywhere. Are you ready to try it?
- I like to start in a sitting position, with my back straight and feet flat on the floor.
- Tilt your head back, and ,look up at the ceiling.
- Pucker up! “Kiss” the ceiling a few times. You will feel the pull in your neck.
Did you feel it? It’s so simple, and there’s no reason you couldn’t work this into your morning routine. And if you’re like me and are thinking about years down the road, you can take comfort in the fact that you’re doing something NOW for a better tomorrow.
