In the winter time, my poor hands often get mistreated. They do not take kindly to the cold New England weather, and as a result get cracked and even bloody.
I try to keep my hands moisturized, but it seems that no more than 20 minutes after putting lotion on, I’m washing my hands again.
A big part of it is my own fault, because I let them get to that point. It’s so simple to put lotion on, yet I often just don’t bother with it.
This winter, my goal is to take better care of my hands. If you’re like me and suffer from extremely dry skin, I invite you to try this with me.
Here’s what to do:
- When you wake up in the morning, put lotion on.
- When you get out of the shower, put lotion on.
- Before grabbing hot laundry out of the dryer, put lotion on.
- Before going to bed, put lotion on.
Lotion, lotion, lotion.
